The Best Disney World Restaurants For Groups With Mixed Dietary Needs!

There are so many different diets these days, whether it be pescatarian, vegetarian, omnivore, vegan, flexitarian, reductarian, the list is endless! When visiting Disney World in a group with mixed dietary needs it can be difficult to choose a restaurant!


Here is a list of the best Disney World restaurants that are currently open that cater for everyone when travelling in a group with mixed dietary needs.




MAGIC KINGDOM

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Visit this quick-service restaurant for Mexican fare. With everything from rice bowls, fajitas, nachos, burgers and salads this is a great option for groups for its pretty large menu.


Tomorrowland Terrace

Having reopened in December 2020 Tomorrowland Terrace has adopted a lot of dishes from the still closed Columbia Harbour House so is great for seafood lovers! This quick-service location also has a range of platters for people who like combos of fish and meat. The plant-based option is a salad and there are also non-dairy frozen desserts to enjoy!


The Crystal Palace

This restaurant reopened with a new menu and there is something for everyone! Choose from classic dishes such as Crispy Fried Chicken, Prime Rib of Beef, Blackened Catfish and Shrimp and the Southern Fried Cauliflower. For a set price you get a family-style salad starter, your choice of entree and a dessert! $39 Adults $23 Kids.


Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper's Canteen

For adventurous palettes make a reservation for this table service restaurant and dine on a range of dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. With items such as falafel, curry, char sui pork, Thai noodles, sustainable fish and steak. This is one of the best restaurants in Magic Kingdom for vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians and omnivores.


Liberty Tree Tavern

This colonial-style restaurant offers family-style dining, just like a Thanksgiving meal! On offer are two all-you-care-to-enjoy offerings: The Bill of Fare which offers the Patriot's Platter featuring turkey breast, pot roast and roasted pork with all the trimmings and the famous ooey gooey toffee cake dessert or the Tavern Keeper's Feast which offers a plant-based platter featuring an Impossible Meatloaf and all the trimmings plus the Johnny Appleseed Warm Apple Cake for dessert. Both come with the declaration salad to start with. This is a great restaurant to dine in for a big traditional meal with options of everyone! Adults $39 Kids $21.


Cinderella's Royal Table

If you are looking for somewhere special to eat there is nowhere more memorable than Cinderella Royal Table. At this signature dining restaurant you get to dine inside Cinderella Castle! On offer is a set menu where you can choose from a range of appetisers, entrees and desserts which are all included in the price. With dishes such as braised lamb shank, fish of the day, chickpea panisse and tenderloin of beef this is a restaurant that caters for all. Adults $62 Kids $37.



EPCOT

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

This is a must visit for BBQ lovers! Enjoy all the classics such as ribs, burgers and brisket plus a BBQ Jackfruit burger for meat-free diners.


Rose & Crown Dining Room

This restaurant in the UK pavillion offers British pub fare, serving a range of classic British dishes. The great news is many of the dishes can be made plant-based on request! This makes this restaurant a great choice where everyone in your group can all enjoy the same foods but with them tailored to their diets.


Spice Road Table

Disney recently took over ownership of the Morocco pavilion and with that launched a new menu for this Middle Eastern restaurant! Now you are able to choose from a variety of small plates, perfect for sharing or to sampling a range of different dishes.


Teppan Edo

This hibachi restaurant not only has a wide variety of dishes suitable for all diets you also get the added benefit of some table theatre as your chef cooks your food right in front of you at the built-in table grill! Great for sushi lovers and fans of noodles where you can all choose your own protein to tailor your meal to your diet.



HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

ABC Commissary

This quick service restaurant has a bit of everything! Choose from a Mediterranean salad, tacos or curry rice bowls. This is a good quick service dining location with interesting entree options.


Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Head to Galaxy's Edge to visit this galactic eatery. On the menu is beef pot roast, fried chicken, pork ribs and a chicken salad. The plant-based Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread is regularly voted one of the best vegan dishes in the Disney Parks.


Woody's Lunch Box

Reminisce back to childhood at Woody's Lunch Box as they offer a range of classic dishes! Choose from a smoked turkey sandwich, grilled three-cheese sandwich, BBQ brisket melt and the famous totchos, which are potato barrels covered in chili. Plant-Based totchos and toasted 'cheddar' sandwiches are available!


Hollywood & Vine

This family-style meal offers a salad appetizer for the table followed by your choice of entree and dessert. Choose from entrees such as macaroni cheese and shrimp, pork osso bucco, seared fresh salmon with grain mustard beurre blanc and pan roasted king trumpet mushrooms followed by your choice of pie. Hollywood & Vine is also a character dining location so you get to see Minnie and her friends whilst enjoying your food! Adult $55 Kid $36.


Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano

For fans of Italian food head to this table service restaurant. All the classic dishes are served here such as meatballs, pizzas, minestrone soup, steak, shrimp campanelle, chicken parmigiana and a unique plant-based polenta cake, cauliflower and mushroom dish.


Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

If you like burgers and milkshakes then this drive-in themed restaurant is the place to visit! Vegan milkshakes are be found here!



ANIMAL KINGDOM

Flame Tree Barbecue

If you love barbecue then you definitely need to visit this quick service restaurant! Here you can order pulled pork sandwiches, a rib dinner, mac and cheese with pulled pork and a plant-based hot link smokehouse sandwich with classic sides such as coleslaw and baked beans.


Satu'li Canteen

This quick-service restaurant is not only located in the beautiful Pandora it is amazing for groups with mixed dietary needs! Here you can choose from a range of dishes, the most famous being create your own bowls. Choose a base, a protein and a sauce to customise this dish to exactly the items you like. This is what makes this the best location for groups as everyone can create a dish that is perfect for them and their dietary needs!


Yak & Yeti Restaurant

For fans of Asian cuisine a visit to Yak & Yeti Restaurant is a must! The menu is huge! With so many options there is always something for everyone! A number of the mains can also have the protein switched to tofu so can be made suitable for vegans and vegetarians and gives plant-based diners even more options.


Tiffins Restaurant

This signature dining restaurant offers meat, fish and plant-based dishes with African and Asian flavourings. It is famous for its bread service, which can also be made plant-based on request!



DISNEY SPRINGS

Blaze Fast Fire'd Pizza

This quick service location is great for a number of reasons. Firstly you can build your own pizza and choose your own toppings making it the perfect dining location for groups with mixed dietary needs! Secondly the prices are great!


YeSake

This is another quick service location where you can create your own meal! Select a protein, base, sauce and toppings and customise your meal to your taste!


House of Blues Restaurant & Bar

If you are fans of creole and cajun cooking be sure to stop by this restaurant! Offering everything from gumbo, jambalya, shrimp and grits, tacos, ribs, burgers and much more the large menu means everyone will be able to find a dish to enjoy!


Morimoto Asia

This signature dining restaurant is a great option for fans of Asian cuisine. Offering dim sum, sushi and classic dishes such as orange chicken, peking duck, ramen, lo mein and kung pao cauliflower the extensive menu caters for all diets.



DISNEY RESORTS

Sanaa - Animal Kingdom Lodge

A hidden gem restaurant! For fans of Indian cuisine be sure to make a booking at Sanaa. It is also one of the best restaurants on property for vegans and vegetarians. Be sure to order their famous bread service (which can be made plant-based on request) and then dine on a range of classic curries that feature meat, fish or vegetables.


The Wave...of American Flavors - Contemporary Resort

This table service restaurant offers a great traditional American breakfast with items such as eggs benedict, sweet potato pancakes and avocado toast. For lunch and dinner enjoy dishes such as beef tenderloin, gnocchi, fish of the day, pork tenderloin or a tofu tikka masala.


California Grill - Contemporary Resort

This signature dining restaurant is perfect for a special occasion. On the menu is gourmet foods such as jumbo scallops, filet of beef, wood fired pizzas, wagyu striploin and pasta. This restaurant is also known for its sushi. The plant-based blueberry doughnuts are raved about. Be sure to visit at sunset for incredible views over Magic Kingdom!


Grand Floridian Cafe - Grand Floridian Resort

This quaint restaurant has an extensive menu and is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is famous for it's variety of benedicts for breakfast and offers classic American dishes all day long.


Narcoossee's - Grand Floridian Resort

This fine dining location offers high end service and gourmet foods. Enjoy dishes such as calamari, barbecued crispy eggplant, shrimp and grits, lobster bisque, grilled swordfish, filet mignon and sweet potato gnocchi. One of the best signature dining restaurants at Walt Disney World that caters for all diets.


Kona Cafe - Polynesian Village Resort

This is a great restuarant for breakfast where it offer unique Polynesian fare. Order the famous Tonga Toast, Loco Moco or macadamia nut pancakes.


Topolino's Terrace - Riviera Resort

This penthouse restaurant at the Riviera Resort offers a fantastic character dining experience with Mickey and his pals in their artist costumes (much better than Chef Mickey's!). Come here for the character dining breakfast and enjoy smoked salmon, sour cream waffle, a plant-based wild mushroom scramble, steak and spiced sausage hash. In the evening visit for fine dining cuisine such as hand-crafted pastas, braised lamb shank, filet mignon, tomahawk veal chop, king salmon mi-cuit, sole meuniere and the tarbais bean cassoulet.


Whispering Canyon Cafe - Wilderness Lodge

Famous for their barbecue skillets this is a must visit for BBQ fans! Plus they have a plant-based version of the skillet!

Food Allergies

Disney is great at wanting to make a super special experience for everyone!


Disney will have allergy menus available at all their restaurant that cover the most common allergens. Just ask for this menu when you arrive. However, if you have more than one allergy or food intolerance these menus can become a bit confusing!


The great news is Disney World has a fantastic dietary team! You are able to contact them before your trip with any questions or queries you have. They can even contact the chefs at the restaurants you wish to visit to see what dishes are suitable for you!

It is best to contact them at least 14 days before your trip.


If you are already in a restaurant and have any queries about the allergy menu or any questions in general you can ask speak to the chef. Disney chefs are super knowledgeable and used to making modifications so don't be shy to speak to them!
