Everything You Need To Know About Mobile Ordering At Disney World!

Food at Disney World is such an important part of any trip. With many dining locations now using mobile ordering here is everything you need to know about how to order, what to do if you need to make modifications, table service mobile ordering and where you can use this service!

If you are visiting Disney World be sure to know all about Mobile Ordering before you go!

WHAT IS MOBILE ORDERING?

This handy feature lets you use the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device to order your food from select quick service and table service locations.

Recently mobile ordering locations expanded as a safety measure to help reduce contact between Guests and Cast Members. At many quick service locations this is now the way you order your food, so be sure to learn all about it before your trip to be prepared!

HOW TO USE MOBILE ORDERING

Mobile ordering is super easy to do and saves time waiting in a queue!

First open up the My Disney Experience app and click the + symbol at the bottom of the screen. From the menu select 'order food'.

You can then scroll through all the restaurants that offer mobile ordering. Select the restaurant you wish you dine from.

Next choose a time that you would like to collect your food.

Now the menu will pop up. The menu will be broken down into sections, such as entrees, plant-based, kids, beverages. Now is the best part - choosing what you want to eat!

Once you have tapped all the menu items you wish to purchase you can place your order.

When it gets to the timeslot you have selected to collect your food head to the dining location. Once you arrive at your restaurant click ‘I’m Here, Prepare My Order’. When your order is ready you will receive a notification to collect it. Simple!

WHAT IF YOU HAVE TO MODIFY YOUR DISH? OR HAVE AN ALLERGY OR INTOLERANCE?

The great news is you can also make modifications if there is something you want to change!

If you are a vegan or on a plant-based diet then look out for the green leaf symbol. This lets you know what items on the menu are plant-based! Most menus will also have a specific section labelled plant-based to help you easily what items you can order.

If you do have a food allergy or intolerance you can speak to the cast member at the entrance of the restaurant you wish to dine in before ordering and they will allow you to speak to a chef or coordinator to ensure what you would like to eat would be safe for you or modifications could be accommodated.

If you have any questions or queries please speak to the cast members! They are always wanting to make sure you have the best experience and want to make sure your meal is suitable for your diet.

Disney World chefs are very knowledgeable about allergies and intolerances so will definitely be able to help you pick out what dish would be suitable for you to enjoy.
