France is known for its amazing cuisine but is not known as being the most vegan-friendly destination. But Does Disneyland Paris have vegan food? What foods are available to you whilst at Disneyland?
If you are visiting Disneyland Paris as a vegan here are all the options available to you!
Disneyland Paris does not have the best range of vegan options, and lags far behind Walt Disney World, but if you know all of the vegan options available you can certainly eat nice food whilst visiting!
Disneyland Park has more vegan options and restaurants than Walt Disney Studios Park. Luckily the two Disney Parks, Disney Village and the Disneyland Hotels are all within walking distance of each other which means you can choose to eat in any location.
Quick service restaurants don't offer much variety with their vegan options. Most will have either a vegetable salad, vegan chili or Neopolitan pasta. For a better variety of vegan food dining at table service restaurant is your best bet. These restaurants are more expensive, so that is something to keep in mind when planning your dining budget.
Some restaurants are only open seasonally so it is a good idea to pick a few locations to choose from just in case your desired restaurant is closed when you arrive.
Hotel New York has just reopened after a Marvel retheming and the two new restaurants, Manhatten Restaurant and Downtown Restaurant, both of which have great vegan options clearly labelled on the menus!
It is always advisable when ordering to mention you are vegan to ensure your meal can be made vegan. A lot of dishes may need to be modified to accommodate so let your server know when ordering. Don't forget to say you are vegan at every restaurant you visit!
Each restaurant will have a folder that contains all the ingredients of each dish on the menu. If you don’t speak French just remember the words for milk, eggs, honey and pay attention to the words in bold characters as these are common allergens.
Suppliers change regularly so a dish that was once vegan could change if a different supplier is being used. So always double-check when ordering that your food is, or can be made, vegan for you.
To save you the work I've compiled all of the vegan foods you can currently enjoy at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney Village and the Disneyland Paris Resorts!
Disneyland Park
Disneyland Paris has the most amount of restaurants available and therefore the most vegan options.
Quick service meals are generally lacking, with only three main options across the restaurants: a vegetable salad, chili or Neopolitan pasta. There are two quick service locations that offer different options: Hakuna Matata which has its own salad and Fuente Del Oro which has falafel with vegan tartare sauce.
There are also a range of table service restaurants that have vegan options. The Silver Spur Steakhouse recently unveiled a new menu, with three clearly labelled vegan options!
